I was guided to your new blog like most people probably are, through an online article in regards to you getting fired for blogging. I just wanted to share a similar episode that I experienced. I was also forced out of my paramedic position with North Memorial Medical Center in Minneapolis for posting a picture of one of their ambulances on my blog as well as stating my position with the company. I think my employment was hindered for more than a mere picture on my blog. My blog: http://blog.lib.umn.edu/ande4192/blaine/ also contained personal viewpoints as well as my sexuality. Unfortunately, the company had grounds for termination based on using their logo on my blog; however, I think the problem was much deeper. It's a very frustrating concept of being terminated for expressing personal viewpoints. The last time I checked, we live in a land of personal freedom and expression; however, cases such as ours prove the opposite.
